Hi! My name is Václav Belák and I’m a Ph.D. student at Digital Enterprise Research Institute, National University of Ireland in Galway. My supervisor is Dr. Conor Hayes, while Dr. Marcel Karnstedt is my co-supervisor. I’m interested in complex social systems modelling and analysis and in particular in the reseach of dynamics of social communities and their mutual effects. I work on automatic analytical techniques for exploration and explanation of dynamic, i.e. changing in time, social networks. This blog is fully focused on topics related to my research.
